Five reasons to send the job to us

    Manufacturer-level diagnostic platforms, fully authenticated

We use the same OE diagnostic platforms as franchised dealers — with live online authentication. That means full module coverage across every network on the vehicle, access to long-coding, adaptations and programming functions that generic scan tools cannot touch, and the ability to read modules that have been hidden behind a security gateway.

Gateway authentication — in-house, not subcontracted

Modern vehicles use security gateways that require a live authenticated session to perform any write operation. Most independents cannot get past them. We hold the manufacturer online accounts required to authenticate in-house — no sending the job to a third party, no additional delay, no margin added on top.

    Oscilloscope-led, measurement-first approach

Before any part is quoted, we capture live data, run a structured fault tree, and put scope probes on the circuit. We produce documented evidence of the fault before the customer is asked to spend a pound. Workshops send us the cars where three parts have already been replaced on a guess — we tell them what is actually wrong.

    Full-depth auto electrical engineering capability

CAN / LIN / FlexRay / Ethernet network faults at the physical layer, parasitic current draw traced to source, wiring-harness and connector repair, component-level board work on ECUs and modules, charging-system electronics, sensor and actuator testing, and high-voltage hybrid / EV diagnostics — all under one roof, all in-house.

Designed for the trade — we stay in our lane

Garages, dealers and fleet operators refer vehicles in with confidence. Technician-to-technician communication throughout. Documented report and written quote on every job. We do not approach your customer, we do not offer a retail repair price, and we do not poach. The vehicle comes back to you with the fault fixed and the paperwork in order.

    What that means in practice

One factory-equipped workshop handles diagnostics, vehicle network, ECU / module, component-level and high-voltage work under one roof. No farming the vehicle out for gateway access. No parts replaced on a guess. A documented fault report, a clear written quote, and technician-to-technician contact from first call to collection. We resolve the fault, return the vehicle with paperwork, and stay out of your customer relationship. That is the arrangement garages across Central Scotland have come to rely on.
